Chateau-La Croix Saint Georges
At the end of the 19th century, Jean Janoueix and Leonard Estrade decided to embark on the wine trade.
It is remarkably placed upon the gravels of Pomerol’s plateau. Château La Croix Saint Georges is easily recognised by the sculpture that decorates its façade: Saint Georges fighting on horseback, a reminder that the estate belonged to the Chivalric Order of the hospitaliers of Saint-Jean of Jerusalem.
Blend: 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc
