Some of them encircled by 17 hoops of white birch which is one of its kind in the entire Burgundy region.

Blend: 100% Chardonnay

AOC:Its located in Côte de Beaune region with appellation "Chassagne Montrachet" premier cru.

Terroir: At altitudes of 220-325 metres, broad hillside exposure brings out the highest expression of the Chassagne Montrachet vineyards.

This vineyard soil comprises distinctive qualities ranges from pebbly limestones to sandy soils with a Jurassic basis.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of morello cherry and cherry-pit, wild strawberry, gooseberry and raspberry are commonly present.

Its delicious fleshiness partly conceals tannins which though somewhat austere in youth, give way with maturity to a concentrated and taste-filled structure intriguing in its complexity.
