Ouriet Pature vineyard was founded in 1950's and has "artisanal winemaking" with terroir being at the forefront for each wine. It is located in village Ambonnay, a wine-growing region of Montagne de Reims.
In 1935, Ambonnayappellation was among original 12 out of 320 champagne villages received Échelle des Crus ("ladder of growth") Grand Cru status, known for the best vineyards. Later in 1985 that number was expanded to 17 with the promotion of five villages (Chouilly, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Oiry and Verzy).
This south-east facing region is appreciated for its champagnes.
The richness of our terroir, chalky soil, sloping situation, optimum sunshine alongwith exclusive grape variety decide the quality of champagne.
Blend: 100% Chardonnay
